Annual Day Celebration 2019

Our school celebrated the 24th annual day in a grand manner on 30 March 2019. It was an auspicious day with our chief guest and special guests. Sri. J. Anjelo Irudhayasami, CEO (Chief Educational Officer, Kancheepuram), Sri. Ramu .C , Inspector of police, Kalpakkam & Kuvathur.

We were all joined together as a family to reveal the addition of another milestone accomplishment in the history of Infant Jesus Mat.Hr.Sec.School, Kalpakkam. Mrs. Selina along with Mrs. Vimala and Mrs. Dhanalakshmi welcomed the audience on behalf of the entire Infant Jesus School family.

Our Annual day function had eco-friendliness as its theme. Our school aimed to appreciate the imaginative instincts and bring out the hidden talents of our students during the occasion.

The function started with a prayer song, followed by Thamizhthai Vazhthu. Following that, our honourable chief guest, Correspondent sir, Principal mam, and coordinator of our school Mr. Deepak sir were welcomed to light the lamp.

A Bharatanatiyam piece was performed by Selvi Sasthika of 9th std to welcome the gathering. She added an auspicious twilight of a spiritual glow to the programme. The chief guest encouraged our students for their academic achievements. Our I Std kids welcomed the gathering with their cute and sweet dance filled with awesome expressions.

Next our KG children expressed their talents by reciting Thirukural, Athichudi, Tamil proverbs, etc.

Vote is the fundamental right of any citizen that enables the them to chose the leaders of tomorrow. Many people don’t vote thinking that one vote will not make any difference. In order to bring an awareness on voting, our 9th std students showed us the need to vote with their excellent skit

A mime act was also performed on the theme of farmers suicide. The mime is the act of using movements of hands, body and expressions on face without speech to communicate. It was carried by the students of class 7.

Life is like dancing and our 24th annual day come to an end. The vote of thanks was carried by Ms. Saral sessal. Overall the day was filled with talented performances and lots of joy.
